yes imo pride was boss when they ran. tougher format no roid testing kicks knees elbows to downed opponets, better fighters in their time. but fedor will not be shown & has been edited out of the box set .. you know playing the game bull schale. on your knees to ****** hole

YOUR INFLUENCE COUNTS -- USE IT
I have to say, I'm just alright with Pride, it never quite grabbed me the way the early tournament days of the UFC did. Nothing compared to seeing, Don Frye, along with Kimo, Ken Shamrock, Dan "the beast" Severn, etc. back in those days.

Refreshing the old PE Days!!!
For me personally, Pride was just another "FIX" for my MMA addiction. i'm glad that I saw the difference in the cage and the ring, back then it was ALL MMA to me!
I had to buy a bunch of PRIDE FC DVD's here & there to watch some classic fights. I mean, to me the whole tournament to get a number 1 contender is great! It leaves no doubt who should face the champion. I think it tested fighters more for endurance with it's openening 10min. round, then two 5min. rounds. I sure as hell miss PRIDE, but at least the fights are still out there.
